Is trading with single commodity good or we should trade with the combination of 2 or more commodities?
Hello Sam,

If you are new to commodity trading I would advise you stick to one commodity and that too in small volume. Once you have a fair understanding of how market moves specially how a specific commodity behaves at different times you can increase the number of commodity and their respective volumes...

If you are in the process of learning TA please understand the basics which definitely will help you in the long run...

Feel free to contact me in case of any further help.

Thanks
Abhinav

Hi Abhinav. Could you plz take time to answer my tailing query.

I've a Demat A/c with Sharekhan. I'm into Commodities trading. Usually, I square off all my positions before expiry.

Coming to the query, I'd like to know how to "Give Delivery" or "Take Delivery" of commodities. As I stay at Hyderabad, are there any designated Warehouses at Hyderabad.

Also, What are the Terms & Conditions, Rules & Regulations for "Delivery" and where can I find it.

Also, after taking delivery, can I store the stock at Warehouse on payment of nominal fee.

Please do reply with correct answers.

Re: Never take / give delivery

In commodities trading, unless you are enduser of the commodity (as in a jewller using gold), never take or give delivery. It is complicated, expensive and you have to pay the full amount of the contract. Always gget out of the contract before the last trading date.
