Agricultural baniya

I am a Farmer. I see that village baniyas purchase heavily from farmers during harvest, stock them and sell them at very high prices after a few months. So I thought why I myself should not become a baniya. The baniyas deal in physical purchase and physical delivery. Then I changed my mind: By the same pracice as of baniyas, can I not enter commodity trading and reap the same benefits as baniyas? Am I thinking correctly? Or have I gone insane?
