Unhappy Want to start a career in commodities arbitrage

I am a commerce grad. in Delhi
just cleared my NCFM commodities module with 95%
and want to make a career in commodities arbitrage

Does one need to go through practical training courses from the ones like BLB(BIFM) or Mansukh in Delhi to get a headstart
and is the course worth paying 70K ?
Is there any other way to secure training in commodities?

also, someone suggested I should also clear capital markets and derivatives market modules in order to start in commodities.
Is that important /necessary?

Pls guide me what to do?

If you really want to learn arbitrague, get into a firm which is big into arbitrague, like BLB was till a year ago. There are pretty many firms in Delhi to get into. Working there for six months will give you lot of knowledge and practical skills. Perhaps than you can start with your own money.

For employment these firms give no or little imporatnce to NCFM certifications etc. All they seek is good hand set on a keyboard and gud IQ! this may seem funny but on MCX you can find college dropouts as great arbitraguers.

In any case you need not pay money(atleast not 70k) to get started. Get friends with senior arbitraguers by visiting many firms etc. and seek guidance. Frankly if you'll know your way its pretty much easier than what it seems.

Best Wishes for a prosperous career.

Do you even know what is arbitrague? If yes, explicate, but keep away from one-liners.
