Brokerage + other Charges in commodity trading
What are the different charges in commodity trading?
Can someone please upload a sample contract note? Any recommendations to select a brokerage house? geojit.com and icicidirect.com mention charges as: Geojit.com: Brokerage for commodity trading: 0.05% of Contract value Exchange Leavy: 0.004% of Contract value Service Tax: 12% of Brokerage and Exchange Leavy Educational Cess: 2% of Service Tax Stamp Duty: 0.001 % of Contract value ICICIDirect.com ICICIDirect.com mentions 0.10% (for turnover Less Than 5 Crores ) as brokerage on their site
