want to open a Trading a/c with SHARE KHAN--your view please!!!

I want to open a Trading Account with Share Khan , Whether They charge separately for using Trade Tiger ! What is the rate of their brokerage for swing trading in cash market ? Any other issue with share khan ,please inform.
I have already talked to their representative ,they will never inform me the issues:annoyed: so want the view of members of traderji who are dealing with them.

Best option is to contact different branches depending on who is more desperate you can get good brokerage rates. If you have a small portfolio they might expect brokerage of 500 min per month. I just left my number on the website and they called back.
With a margin cheque of 1 lakh you can get 0.01% intraday or 0.2% delivery at present in bangalore.

what about speed trade Trade Tiger ? does any one is getting lower then min 6k charge for a 12 month or is it same for all branches ?

I talked to one of their representative , he told me TT is free .... also mailed to customer care ,they replied that " currently there is no specific charges for accessing Trade Tiger software " but the word currently.... makes me uncomfortable....:annoyed:

I forgot to mention I too am getting it without any brokerage committments. It's just that with a larger margin check they can give a favourable brokerage rates. I guess there is enough pressure on them with all the discount brokers.

Their customer service is poor & delayed.

They say TT is free..but you have to generate certain amount of brokerage every month means you have to do enough trades in a month that they can get some brokerage..otherwise you have to pay 6000 yearly for TT..I use their TT for charts..but didnt trade with them regularly..

Well, as someone who has tried and seen various brokers and discount brokers, I would suggest you go with Sharekhan.

No discount broker worth its salt today can match Sharekhan's level of reliability.

Maybe that is why their brokerage is slightly on the higher side!! But they are quite flexible regarding it, so you can bring your brokerage charges lower by "negotiations".

I do not want to diss discount brokers, their services have definitely helped many..... but the sad reality is they woefully lack on two very important fronts: infrastructure and technology.

Visit the thread of one of the largest discount brokers on this forum and you will get some idea what I mean by trading system infra etc. jargons.

Shun them if you prefer trading tranquilly; try them if you have lots of time and money.
