Tintin,
Avoid following brokers even when you are sleeping.
kotaksecurities (I have bad experience, Lousy customersupport, Slow interface, high margin requirement, even for Nifty)
ICICIdirect(Highest in brokerage, Slowest in user interface, However fast money transfer, But who needs this feature, as long as we can save 300-500 on each future lot)
indiabulls (Group of people, who will use your account as they want, No safety)

tintin, stay away from this overheated market for a few weeks, let it cool down a bit,

Then get hold of a technical analysis package, and start studying how to buy pullbacks, and THEN invest 25 % of your money, in about 5 companies.

I dont care how small the amount per co may seem, may even seem childish, but thats the way to learn my friend.

U will have more opportunities to invest big sums, but only after u have gone through the various stages of being a trader. Refer to a good post by credit violet on stages of a trader.

Best of luck
