TradeTiger - Issues

From my post on TradeTiger (TT) Terminal from Sharekhan on many occassions, it would be apparent that I have been a fan. In fact, TT has been the sole tool to trade. However, have been facing some issue recently :

* Log off from the terminal on internet disruption. One has to log in again, with user name, password, trading password.

* Even if the above is done, many times, the system does not allow log in - stating duplicate log in. Hence one is locked out of the platform for quite sometime.

* Today, there was disruption due to net connection at Sharekhan's end. No login was possible for over an hour.

* Can login now, but price is not updating. Charts have 'frozen' and are not being updated.

The reason for writing this is to know if anybody else is having the same problem?

Due to the repeated problems of being logged out, will have to consider alternative charting platform. Can anybody suggest similar terminal?

This is the only major issue with Sharekhan. At my end, there was a disruption for 5-10 minutes only and then worked ok till end of the session. Haven't checked it at this time (not trading commodities).

Agreed that login on disruption is irritating, but that apart I find it satisfactory.

I think new version of TT has had its share of bugs.. It keeps wanting to download scrip master everyday and usually hangs there. Killing and restarting gets past that problem.

Which version of TT are you using? I have TT 2.4 and have never faced the issue that you are mentioning. Do check with the technical desk of Sharekhan. They should be able to fix the problem.

I had encountered a similar problem on 19 Feb.... As per the order book, my SL was hit but chart and market depth were showing that price had not even come close.. Eventually, it was discovered that price feed was not running. Only place where I can see the matching price is EOD. IEOD feed was lost for that day. Today, I had interruption free connection from 9:05 to 3:45.

Agree, I too had hassle free terminal today.

I did get two popups messages today. First one suggested that I should log in to even numbered server in case of problems. Second one told that all servers are OK.

Oh... something new. I did not get any such message. Wonder if it is due to version difference?


Compared to TT, NOW sucks. I'd move out of TT if I get something like MT4.

Heard a lot about MT4. Dose it have capability to show 4 charts on the screen like TT with different TF, templates etc? Anybody using MT4? Which broker supplies MT4 and what does it cost? Worth having an alternative in mind....

I had a disconnection at 2.42pm today. Changed to server 1 (from server 6) and re-logged in.
