Which of these are better brokers for day-trading?

#1
Hello All,

I'm new to trading and I have ICICI (salary account) and SBI(savings) and I'm planning begin with 50k (max limit) until I can grasp of the current trend of trading?

Looking for opening Demat+trading, since I feel using ICICI and SBI might use the amount fast only for brokerages and charges. Am I right?

And here are the below possible I have narrowed:
Zerodha
RKSV
Angel Broking
Geojit

I will be trading on day-trading the most and in frequency of 3~5 per month using mobile platform and web platform.

Guys need your expertise in choosing which will be the best to suit me

Regards,
Mahesh

Mahesh Bro,

Zerodha : Pros- Low Brokerage ,Good Ancillary/Support services (mostly free), Constantly Inventing/Improvising, Brand new In-house Trading platform Pi to be luanched soon.
Cons-Their present trading platform Zerodha Trader is crashing every now n then , (culprit is Nest Plus mostly ).

RKSV : Pros- Really low Brokerage if u r a High Volume Trader
Cons- In all other area -Zerodha is better for now.

Angel Broking : Pros- Brokerage Negotiable if u r a High volume trader, and i like the Name - it has an ANGEL a BRO and a KING :)
Cons- Cant Beat RKSV or ZERODHA either in Brokerage or in Other Services.

Geojit :Unke Brokerage bharke pehle Jiyo phir Trades Jeethlo :)

Pls wait for the inputs from others/seniors.

All the Best

Thank u

Shiraj

hi guys,

Thank a lot for the suggestions. :thanx:

Yes, I'm inclined to go with discount brokers but I also need the trading platform to be stable to be used with mobile or laptop. Since I will be in office most of the day. So I'm planning to go with zerodha based on the platform.

Any other factors should I consider before going ahead?

Mahesh

Thanks Shirajroz, I checked with HDFC they savings account which needs to have minimum 10k at the end of the day....that's CRAZY!

Moreover if I change my salary account to HDFC it may take time at my office.

Will there be any affect in transferring funds or delays if I maintain thru ICICI?
