Hi,

I am new to trading. I want to do intraday trading, after going through Traderji I thought I might open an account with zerodha. But now I am confused again which broker to start with. Please help me in choosing any one these brokers Zerodha or RKSV?

Thanks

How often or how many trades you are planning to do in day trading ?
Whether you are planning to trade F&O,Stocks or Options ?

There are cheaper brokers compared to RKSV like achievers,SASonline.

Jagan,

I dont know how many trades I would do. Just done some paper trade, not concerned about other brokers. I need a good discount broker with reliable software. I thought Zerodha was the good choice. If not zerodha it has to be RKSV.

Thanks :)

- Enter the Dragon Bruce Lee - "Dont think Feeeeeel it".

Definitely Zerodha is not a discount broker. It was two years back.

As I said Achivers Equities and SASOnline.Check for them.
Achievers 500 rs+tax per month and SASOnline 1000 rs +tax per month flat. While RKSV is 2200 rs.

There is some advantage on Transaction charges if you plan to trade Futures when trading with RKSV but the trade size or no of trades should be more which should compensate your extra 1600 rs.

Today with all the technology and the seamless way of trading - all brokers would be same on terms of technology - The other consideration is on how far they go in their service standards -

When opening account with Tradejini I can say one thing - within 24 hours i could open my account without much hassles - They also have thier own DP which makes it more seamless. U can also try them out.

I do not trade on day to day basis - and hence it is good not to have any minimum or fixed outgo - Markets do not reward day traders during these days of Algo trading.
