Re: NEST chart

By default ,NEST chart appears in the bottom of the Screen.
Is it possible to make it FLOAT?(Quite similar to Admin positions or order book or ...)
Yes you can...double click the area just above where it says "Intraday Chart : xxxxxxx" or "Historical Chart : xxxxx" to make it floatable window which can be moved to extended displays.

@Zerodha - Please consider supporting Linux in your upcoming platform
Have to use VM for it right now.

Do you know if its a native application or HTML5 based like Z5?

Zerodha, I had bought 2000 share of jp on Thursday and only got 30 in delivery, today morning I called in and was told about short delivery from exchange, this much short delivery? I am unable to understand, moreover I was told that I will get it around 1-2 pm. And then at 2 pm. I was told that I will get it in the evening

Is it completely exchange side problem? Please clarify

Also what's the use of your service called buy today sell tomorrow, if one doesn't know if one is will be getting short delivery?

Btw I had bought as a swing trading but I had to sell it today, and not able to at all

have u ever checked the difference by doing the calculations urself?
1st do it :annoyed: u will get the answer why stamp duty is so very important in the final calculation

I dont know what the fuss is about stamp duty. Already Zerodha is working on wafer thin margins.

If we can spend the same time on our trades rather than this stamp duty, we would probably be earning twice as much.

On another note, if Zerodha were to bring in a word class charting software like Meta trader 4 (which they say would be out in a few months), I wouldn't mind paying Rs 30 or more per trade.

The future of the brokerage business is going to be all about cost and advanced software and I guess Zerodha has realized that and is working on it.

2 years back when I was trading through Angel broking ,they refunded me 65 Rs extra per share for short delivery of ABNUVO shares instead of shares after auction.
