Who is paying lowest brokerage????

#71
Dear friends
I had started this topic sometime in 2006. Let me update on this matter since I had almost stopped trading for last 2 years, now again started.

I am having account with Crosseas.co.in for last 6-7 years, which is the biggest arbitrage trading company in Mumbai.

I am paying 0.005% in intra day trading, and 0.05% in delivery. Rs 8 per day per scrip is paid for demat transaction. There is no volume commitment. All statutory charges are extra. Company is extremely transparent.

A number of brokerage firms have contacted me, but nobody could match above rates.

They provide terminal facility at an annual charge of Rs 2500 or you can trade on telephone.

Please advise if any body is able to get lower rates than above.

Regards.

CToption offers a wide range of trading tools to support your trading strategies, provides additional opportunities for increased secured money management and ultimately shapes your trading experience.

I just opened account with myvaluetrade.com. They offer 1000 monthly or Rs 10 per trade for all segments. Trading terminal is also advanced enough to manage everything online. Limits are decent and available on more shares. Pls share your experience with me also. Regards, Sajeev S

0.17% on delivery, is there a volume commitment or monthly charge for getting this low brokerage.

I am using ICICI (I know its sucks) for last 2 years and want to change desperately now. ICICI charges a whopping 0.75% on delivery.

Pl. advise as I need to change broker desparately and urgently, Thanks.

Have you lately seen any Brokerage house promote themselves in a unique way to gain more clients? I actually came across a brokerage firm called EasyTradez doing that! They are actually offering free Trading Accounts for users through Facebook! What do you think of this strategy? Would this work?

Now I trade with myvaluetrade.com. I bought 50 shares of state bank of india last week & sold them on friday. Total taxes & charges incurrred Rs 80 appx; earlier i used to pay Rs 1100 as brokerage & taxes to the so called top broker. So that's a whopping savings of 1000 bucks. That's cool amount.

Also, since brokerage & tax are less so I can start making profits even with buying-selling price difference of Rs 2. Earlier I had to ensure price difference of Rs 25 to breakeven.

pLEASE UNDERSTAND , brokerages give u low brokerages , but there are usually many hidden charges and also monthly volume committments
Yes, you are so right. Firstly the brokerage % of full service brokers are high. The service tax alone on Rs 750 brokerage comes to Rs 92. The govt taxes & charges could be as high as Rs 250-400. However, with SEBI getting strong on charges, most brokers have fallen in line. My suggestion is to go to a good discount broker who will help you save on brokerage & service tax. I would suggest zerodha.com, myvaluetrade.com and rksv.in. . There brokerage will be Rs 10-50 instead of Rs 750 for delivery buying of 100 SBIN

I save atleast Rs 500-800 daily by using services of discount broker. Who wants big brokers when i get all services online. In fact online is much more efficient & faster.

WOW 25 lacs to 50 lacs PER DAY!!! Thats huge volume, u must be mighty rich Mr. Kothari... :)

I dont even do trade of 1 Lac per month and I am paying brokerage of 0.75% delivery to ICICI. Do u have any suggestions for a brokerage house for me, plz advice. Thanks!
.75%???? you are paying too high. With this %, if you buy 100 State bank of India, you will pay Rs 3000 as brokerage only. Go for a good discount broker like zerodha.com, myvaluetrade.com or rksv.in. They charge Rs 10 per trade & their software & services are better than so called big brokers. Why should we pay high brokerage for them to maintain posh offices!!! Online services of discount brokers are better than the big names

You should try some online discount broker like zerodha.com,myvaluetrade.com or rksv.in. They provide good plans & all services are online. Choose the plan as per your trading pattern. For eg- if you trade less then go for fixed per trade plan of Rs 10. If you trade daily then go for fixed monthly plan of Rs 1000 etc. One final suggestion- do not go for mushroom type discount brokers; their software & services will be poor.
