Zerodha Trader- How to change splash screen

Tired of that ugly Omnesys splash screen? You can change the splash screen, just follow these steps.

1. Go to C:\Program Files\Omnesys\NEST3
2. Delete Splash.jpg
3. Decide a picture that you would want as your new Splash screen.
4. Rename it to Splash.jpg
5. Move it to C:\Program Files\Omnesys\NEST3
6. Profit!!!

Do you want to revert to default Omnesys splash screen? Download from here. 344Kb

The original Omnesys image was 344Kb, and this Leopard image is only 149Kb, so it is easier on the system resources. So, all those complaining about NEST hanging must use this technique.

You can totally turn off any Splash Image, which I recommend those traders who are suffering from software hangs at startup:

1. Click on Start>Run
2. Type "C:\Program Files\Omnesys\NEST3\nestclient.ini" and press Enter. A Notepad file should open.
3. Find "[BANNER_PATH]"
4. Below that replace "PATH=splash.jpg" with
5. VALUE=FALSE
