Difference in MTM and next day's limit statement in Sharekhan Commodities

Hello,

I noticed last week that I was supposed to have to receive an MTM of ~4,000 but my commodity limit statement only increased by ~3,000

Yesterday, my MTM was 1,100 and my commodity available limit was 900+. Today (it is a holiday though for trading in Maize) my commodity available limit was increased to only 1,670 instead of 2,000+.

What could be the difference between the readings for Sharekhan?

I am noticing more than 20% difference in value. I'm short on Maize and my brokerage fee for that transaction yesterday was only 40 rupees. I haven't noted yesterdays margin for the commodity but it can't really be increasing by more than 300 rupees (or 1,000 rupees) while on a short.

It could be the MTM brought forward is affected by the difference in closing prices.

Yesterday, there was a 3 rupee difference between actual closing price of 1344 and official bhav copy closing price of 1347 so MTM on a short may have only been 800 instead of 1,100. I posted the above since I was in shock when I noticed such a difference (last week I had ~1,000 rupees difference) happened 2x in 2 weeks.
