It is a Short sell call. Selling first is known as Short Selling.
could you please explain more.

see it has mentioned target price and stop loss.

are you trying to say sell first at 149 Rs. Now to square off need to buy back and buy price at 164

where is the profit then ? umm ....I dont think its a short sell call.

The meaning of it is:

The current market price (CMP) of the stock is 162.40... sell at CMP or some price as specified by the analyst with a target of 149 and stop-loss of 164. This type of trading is called short selling. Here you sell first and buy back later at target or when you want to book the profit or when the stop-loss gets hit. In India, generally short selling is intraday process (though there are provisions to keep your positions short overnight).

See Generally it means to sell at the CMP which is higher than 149, which is the target. And the SL to be placed at 164.

Means say the CMP is 160 so you are selling at 160 with a buy target of 149 and with a SL of 164.

Here is the tip

your SL here means if the price goes up then to stop loss I should be buying at 164 to square off...right ?

Tell me how do you understand thats its intraday call ? why not a delivery call ?

All the delivery base sell call are intraday call, if you want to carry it next day, sell the future of that stock.
