I am using RK Global, So for no problem with them, but am bit confused with the charges for trading in futures, as they charges around Rs.115/lot (buy & sell) (including Brokerage, STT, Stamp duty etc.)

Is the same charges on other brokers?

For single lot of Nifty futures trade, Zerodha will cost you around 170 bucks. RKG will be better in this case. Even for options traders, RKG is better than Zerodha.
The problem with RKG is their ODIN charges which you have to pay even when not trading for any month or you have very thinly traded that month... Moreover RKG do not provide extra margin for intraday FNO trade like RKSV or Zerodha does.
If you are high volume trader, try RKSV.

115 Rs for what...?

Acc to me 1 Lot NF buy & sell at 5000 shld cost 92.07 at RKG. Pls verify ur Contract Note.

BTW......RKG provides 2x Margin for Intraday. Ask them to enable the feature.

Cheers

Please check this post as I trade total of 5 lots of Nifty Future on that day and it comes Rs.115/lot (buy and sell) on average! Also checked on other days of trading as well, the same amount has been charged!!

RKG too provide two times intraday margin for future trading and one can also trade on NOW software with RKG without any monthly charges. For trading one lot of nifty ( at 5100 buy & 5100 sell), with RKG, total charges will come as Rs 95.

You used to be a very big ZERODHA fan some times back, loyalty shifted.

Have been with a lot of online brokers over the last 10 odd years of trading..

I have been with Zerodha for the last 16 months and have seen the fall from 6300 to 4600 and nifty going back up 5600.. In all these 16 months, I haven't had one single issue with them... Trading for a living forces me to put a lot of withdrawal requests, never had one delay... Customer support has been almost perfect..My long term trades are usually option writing trades and have never had any broker before who can understand my trades as much as the Zerodha RMS team does..

Zerodha Trader, works like a dream for my commodities trading along with the combo of NEST Plus.. Just waiting for equity also to be launched on the platform... Edelweiss who used to charge me 0.02% for commodities, charged me money for the same platform which Zerodha is giving free of cost at 20 bucks a trade..

I would vouch for Zerodha...
