Under what conditions do the Company/Corporation Management take a decision to delist their shares on stock exchange/s they have listed ?.
i.e. when the co is making / not making profits, before / after merger or acquisition with another organization etc ?.
What are the procedures for delisting shares on a stock exchange ?
This could be a guess work answer from my end.
1. The Organization/Corporation which are not making profits i.e. incurring losses maybe would like to delist their shares on stock exchange/s.
Organization which are making profits would also like to delist their stocks for specific reasons ?
2. When a Acquisition takes place i.e Parent co buys Child co, the Child Co would have/like to maybe delist their shares on the stock exchange/s ?.
There could be many more reasons which we can trace out.
