brokerage rates

i am using angel platform for online trading.i am paying .05 and .35 paisa respectivly for intra dy and delivery. option charges for nify are rs.50/lot.my friends tellme you are paying too much as you are trading online.they say .03&.25 is good.can someone suggest me a good broker with better online trading platform,with no minimum brokerage criteria.

For options,how much do you pay per lot?

Your friends tell you right that you are paying lot of brokerage. These rates which you pay are hefty.

I am not recommending anyone , but telling the facts only . I am attached with
Indiabulls & Sharekhan .
At Indiabulls I negotiated for my brokerage and they made it 0.015 for intraday and 0.2 for delivery. Options is Rs. 35 per lot. These rates were done only after lot of negotiations with my RM.
With Sharekhan my brokerage is 0.02 Intraday & 0.25 delivery. Options same as yours .

Now in this forum only I have seen lot of positive discussions going on about Zerodha and RKSV . These are online brokers and offering very competitive rates . You can read their threads in the forum and decide for yourself.

I am myself planning to join one amongst them very soon as our costs get considerably reduced after availing their low cost services. :thumb:

Zerodha is excellent.

For all segment it is 0.01% or Rs. 20/- whichever is lower.(Per trade)

Options Rs. 20/- per Trade.

Per trade means Whether you trade with 1 lot or 100 lot you will be charged Rs. 20/- only.

this is too high. Just tell your RM that you have recd a better offer from Religare/Indiabulls and that is .02 and .15.
30/lot for options.

That should work.
