Transaction charges in commodities

Hi,

Can member elaborate how much their brokers charge by way of charges apart from the brokerage, that is -

MCX turnover charges
Stamp duty
Other charges etc

My broker charges me a 450rs per crore of turnover on both buy and sell... anybody else's broker charging less?

More than ONE year back, (from Nov'2009) onwards, MCX has reduced the turnover charges from 400/- per crore to 250/- per crore PLUS applicable service tax on that. You can bargain with your broker to charge at actuals
