Geojit BNP Paribas refusing to open online demat/trading account without POA

hi,
Geojit BNP Paribas Financial services ltd is refusing to open an ONLINE demat/trading account without signing the Power of Attorney(POA). I think this is in against SEBI rules. If anyone has faced similar issues, appreciate if you can add your comments or suggestions. Thank you.

Send them an email with a CC marked to SEBI's Complaint Redressal & to the Depository it would be either NSDL or CDSL

You can get their respective email address by digging through the Forum or by going to their respective websites....

Yes... it is against SEBI rule to demand POA
