Hi All,
Wishes to you all and traderji is doing a wonderful job in keeping up this site. I ve started trading approx 6 months back on ICICI direct and its painfully slow and its even more painful when i see the statement every month. I do short term trading holding for period till it increases to 4 to 5% and then selling it.. the complete expenses for a trading cycle is
BUYING 1.37% aprox ( incl brockerage of 0.75% +st etc...)
SELLING1.37% approx ( incl brockerage of 0.75% +st etc...)
so nearly 2.8% goes off with this and then on a real squeeze i get in reality around 1% is my stratergy wrong or any other broker gives a best deal for these kinds of trade.

and NRI's are not allowed to do intraday. there are a lot of other pros but i m not really into IPO and other stuff.. i simply want to speculate with say 5 lacs and get a decent return at the end. 75% of the trade is in NRO deposits since i dont like to settle anywhere other than INDIA so i always transfer it in my NRO account.

Experts plz help me to find a broker

An NRI has to take delivery as per regulations and hence he can't indulge in Intraday trade per se. Practically, it means that an NRI can do intraday trade in the Cash Segment (I.e., purchasing and selling on the same day) but he can't avail the brokerages or margin facility available to Resident Indians in Intraday trade.

Best Regards,
