International Commodity agent,intermediary tips

hello everybody, I am new in a commodity business but has a great interest. Got a friend who is Mandate for Sugar and other Softs for over 60years. Trying to do my best and get well experienced in that area. Already have a potential customers but want to do things right. Any help will be very appreciated from the bottom of my heart. What do I need to know as an agent of a Mandate and working with other brokers??? Thanks in advance!
