Which is the best online stock broker?

I'm from coimbatore, tamilnadu.
I'm new to this site. Also new to stock market.
I want to go for both investments as well as day trading.
Can any one please suggest which stock broker is best - Angel trading / Religare / JRG securities ? Or anything else?

Kotak securities is worse nightmare. They take months to solve your simple queries. Do not go for it.

My suggestion is as far as you are new to stock market please dont go for day trading. Be an investor with proper hedging. If you ask me who is the best online broker I will definitly tell you the name of SHAREKHAN. I dont represent them. But I have experience trading with half a dozen of brokers and at present for last one year trading with sharekhan they have a beautifull softwear TRADE TIGER.
