Re: Unable to modify or cancel SL orders in NOW LBS

Sachin,

There seems to be a bug in the low bandwidth site of NOW.

When I try to modify or cancel a Stop Loss order in NOWLBS, I get this message:
"Please select an open order to modify"

The status for open Stop Loss orders is "Trigger Pending", so there is no way to modify or cancel.

There is no problem in modifying Limit Orders, since the status of open Limit orders is "Open".

Could you please get someone from NOW to look into this? A large part of my trading consists of modifying trailing stop losses.

We have reported this problem to the NOW support team and they are working on a resolution for the same. Also, if we could have screen-shots of the error made available, it would be very easy to resolve. Thanks! :)

Hi! We activate the LBS site for all our clients by default. If you have problems accessing the LBS site, just call us and we'll assist you. We're available on 080-41302020 every weekday from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Alternatively, you can call the NOW helpline, too. : 1800220052

Hi,
My first query was about web based terminal not for NOW Exe software.
If you could tell me how can I sqareoff my future positions in web-based terminal that would be helpful as I cannot have NOW EXE software installed at office.

Thanks

The web-based trading workstation available at www.nowonline.in is not for 'professional' traders and hence has limited functionality when compared to the exe.

To square off your positions on the web-based version, you have to place a counter order to complete your square off process.

AMO takes time when market is opened. From last 3 days I'm placing AMO but have to cancel them after waiting 2-3 minutes. And I'm putting orders on equities only and not fno. Today I even tried basket AMO which didn't worked either. On the other hand last night I placed AMO on kotak and it got executed within a minute as my price came as market opened but in zerodha snap quote option dont show my orders as well as order book shows only AMO requested. Doesn't matters much as I'm saving money but than I've to put an alarm to wake up every morning.

Any updates on SBI? From my opening of a/c you said end of Feb than mid March, 1st week April now it's almost end of April. NEFT is chargable by my bank.

By the way, I've saved almost a/c opening charges since I'm a very small investor and don't play much in market. Still you made me save a lot. Thanks. Keep it up!

It is strange that the AMO setup doesn't work for you. We will look deeper into this and figure out how an order from Kotak can get through and not from Zerodha. Do call us and give us your client ID at the office so that we can observe and see what the problem is.

The SBI payment gateway has been active from our end for more than a quarter now. It is a delay from the bank's end and hopefully it should be active at the earliest.

Thank you for the kind words. We intend to make the life of trader's better. :)

Sorry Sachin , but Zerodha is not working in my laptop anyhow..
I have tried different internet connections (Reliance money was working at such speed)

Also, i have disabled windows firewall settings..
Still it stops working after 35 %

Hi! I think we can resolve your issue at the earliest if you call us and talk to our support staff. There will be a few small setting changes that need to be made to your system which they can do by accessing it remotely.

1.called ur CC guy......after talking randomly for few minutes, he recommended to update my java version to latest. (I do have latest java version.....mind u.....lol) zerodha support was pretty poor this time & i have got lots of other things in life.......so i kind of skipped the issue. what can i do?

2.please note that i need NSE LBS site so that i can auto trade using my software. my program/application will login into the LBS & place order as per the commands.

3. have anyone noticed? the SSL certificate for the NSE LBS? is it having problem?

the data is getting transferred to the NSE w/o encryption. use firefox for NSE LBS login (not internet explorer) & u will realize what i am talking about.

Please see the screen shot attached here with

@Logik...

Our customer support executive was going through the regular steps of isolating the issue and providing a resolution that would work. We do have a lot of customers who place orders through the LBS and none of them have reported issues which haven't been resolved, so you can be assured that you can program your trades on the LBS. :)

About security and encryption, you should know that NSE has a very strong and secure system. The best in India at least. There is a turnover of over 100,000 crores on a daily basis on NSE and they wouldn't be open for hackers or any internet thieves.

i think that could be very expensive for low investment.if you purchase 100 share then you have to pay 20 rupees that could be very expensive.for benefit only those people who trade high volume like in 1000shares.my daily turnover around 1crore in nse i am paying only 750rs brokerage on i crore.less than i paissa.
A small investor or even a trader spending less than 2 lacs intraday both side or purchasing shares for holding less than 20000 can opt percentage based option where brokerage is 0.01% on intraday and 0.1% on delivery. One can change his/her plan to 20 per order anytime and vice versa just by calling zerodha/emailing them. So it fits need of everyone, big or small. :)
