Can you please tell me which browsers are supported for nowonline.in? I could see firefox working well but while trying to transfer funds, I am not able to press the Submit button.

I would like to put up a query regarding intraday trading in Bank Nifty.

My question is that if I buy 1 lot of Bank Nifty and then Sell it with a profit
within trading hours for a given single session of a Trading day and not carrying it forward then can you please point out :

Q1. What will be the margin required for this trade in Zerodha Trading Account ?
Q2. What will be the final payment I will have to make on this Bank Nifty Intraday trade including Zerodha Trade Fees and all other combined charges of Stamp Duty,STT,Service Charges etc. ?

From this question exactly what I want to ask is that apart from Rs. 40 as Trade charges including both Buy/Sell sides how much extra I will have to pay as Taxes.

I have downloaded and installed NOW Software.
When I try to run "NOW initialization failed for interactive engine : <<os error>>" error displayed. Could you please let me know how to solve this problem.

Incase if I open account IL&FS , I need to give you POA and once I give it, I can sit and relax without worrying about payin and auction ? All shares kept in IL&FS demat can be sold online through you and you will yourself arrange for payin ?

The os error is usually because of

1. Your system date and time is not correct... check your date and time on your computer.

2. internet connection... If your speeds are lesser than 256kbps... Usually if you are sharing internet with multiple systems ,the speed drops...

Do leave your name and number on india@zerodha, someone will call and sort it for you...

I came to know abt Zerodha from this forum and frankly telling this is the best. Everyone should have account in zerodha. The software is suberb. The service is superb. Even if you ask some stupid question (i asked many), they will always give you the answer.

For buying options, there is no leverage you get , so not relevant...

when you write options, this becomes relevant again, the rule is same as futures for writing options ....

The good thing about stamp duty in Karnataka is that the max stamp duty per day is Rs 50... Unlike other states it is not an open thing(can vary from Rs 200 to Rs 1000 per crore) and because we have our office only in Bangalore all our clients would get this benefit....

If you buy and sell 1 lot( buy at 10230 sell at 10250)
Total cost(including all charges) : Rs 123.3( 4.93 pnts to breakeven)

buy and sell 2 lots: Rs 202.5 ( 4 pnts to breakeven)

3 lots: Rs 281( 3.76 pnts to breakeven)

4 lots : 3.6pnts

10 lots : 3.3

Can go as low as 3 points if you take bigger than 10lots at a time position...

The charges mentioned are your only charges, you will never get to see any other charges on our ledger(unlike a lot of other brokers) other than what is applicable on the contract notes...
