Re: new cheapest broker is here. Zerodha

i will be visting banglore next week fortunately. i am will be staying in bannerghata road if possible i will give visit to their office.
but the address given in website is quite vague
, 2nd Floor, Bannergatta Road, Bilekahalli Bangalore 560076.
as the bannerghata road is a long stretch, it would have been easy if they mentioned some near by point

Re: new cheapest broker is here. Zerodha

Nice to see the interest in Zerodha. Will be very happy to answer the queries on the forum every night.
The address for the Bangalore office on the website is: Zerodha, 175/176 2nd floor, Bannergatta Road, Bilekhalli, Bangalore 560076, Karnataka. The way to get there would be: 300 mts before IIM Bangalore if you are on the way towards bannerghatta, on the right side of the road there is an Indian oil petrol bunk. Just next to the bunk you can see our office with the signboard. You cannot miss it, if you are passing on Bannerghatta Rd.
Looking forward to see you at our office...
Cheers

is brokerage so important....u will save only a fraction of your losses if you are on the loosing side.............technique is important............five days of 2000 to 5000 per day sixth day loss of 70000 and you will stop using the account

Brokerage is equally important as that of a good strategy.

Re: new cheapest broker is here. Zerodha

I used to do 1 nifty trade a day atleast, I am saying minimum.. a lot of nifty option trades, but 1 nifty future day per day atleast.. at 0.03% my cost per lot of nifty used to be around 7 points.. if I did 1 trade per day, 250 trading days, i ideally would do 250 trades a year atleast.. and to breakeven on the 250 days I would need close to 2000 points... :) .. was i able to catch 2000 points every year to breakeven alone??? :) .. It is the most important thing after strategy for an active trader... Cheers....

Re: new cheapest broker is here. Zerodha

Hi all, I have 2 questions on Zerodha demat account:

question 1:

If I bought 100 shares (equity cash segment) at price X; and now, If I sell 50 shares at price Y and another 50 shares at price Z, whether it will be a total of 3 orders charging me rs. 60? (i.e., rs. 20 /order)

question 2:

I read in some of the post that cash margin exposure is 10 times. Is it for the stocks from A and B groups only? Is it possible to trade the D group shares like ATLAS CYCLE, HOVS, PARAL, TTKPRESTIGE, NAHARIND etc.? If yes, what is the exposure they give? Is it possible to see the group of shares and their respective exposures in their site. Is there any link available?

Please assist

thanking you

Re: new cheapest broker is here. Zerodha

Hi SJL, We are trying our best to be as efficient as possible.. Looking forward to having you trade through us... For trading in derivatives, if not for an income proof you could also attach a copy of 6 months bank statement, a demat holding statement(if you are presently holding stocks in any demat of yours) and the last option is to fill in the self declaration. There is no minimum networth that SEBI prescribes for trading in derivatives. So, if 25k is what you have, you could write that much as your networth. People who file their returns, don't necessarily have to be making any money. So, in the income bracket in the self declaration, you could mention the amount you made last year. If last year wasn't great for you, then you could mention a zero there. Hope this helps.. Cheers Sachin(ZERODHA)
