hi All,
I am not sure if i am posting this at the right place ,why does market order get listed as Limit order .
I trade on HDFCSEC, i observed a curious thing today .
As usual , i did a "Get Quote" entered the symbol, the attributes got listed
and i clicked on the "click here to see five best bids "
i saw only one buy order for around 3 lakh shares for that Equity,
I placed a buy order with "MARKET" under CNC ,
here is the juicy part (fingers crossed)
in the Order Book tab,
i see the order, under the order price tab i see the last traded price of that share .(it should have been MKT right , i did not specify that price )
so i thought lets modify it, when i hit the modify order, i saw the dropdown was populated with LIMIT instead of MARKET
The same thing happened with one more share
Guide me if i am missing something
