ICICI Trade racer now 75/- per month.

With reference to the earlier communication "Trade Racer activated on your ICICIdirect.com Account", we had activated Trade Racer in your ICICIdirect.com account for a power packed trading experience based on your request. The platform allows you to have access to multiple features like live streaming quotes, advance charting tools for technical analysis, facility to create multiple watchlists and live research calls.

We wish to bring to your notice that the facility has been offered free of charge and will continue to be so till October 30, 2010. Thereafter, a nominal subscription fee of Rs 75/- per month + Service Tax will be charged on your account for continuing the facility. The same would be debited from your account at the end of the month.

However, the subscription charges will be waived off in case your monthly brokerage is more than Rs 750.

I just called them and got off this horrible product and saved 75 INR PM.

I tried to activate the Trade Racer in my ICICI Direct A/c somehow always i faced timeout issues. Good that i didnt subscribe Monthly Savings 75 RS/- ;-)

I had tried to get this Trader Racer from ICICIDirect even tough I am existing investor with them, at that time ICICIDirect had informed me that the trade racer is only given to new demat account holders and not to existing account holders, at that time i failed to understand why because the existing account holder normally knows the market softwares plus and minus points hence ICICIDirect approach to first try this software amonst new customers rather than existing customers and get a negative feedback but either ways their plan backfired.

Good for me that i did not buy this?
