Icicidirect slow securities allocation

#1
Hi all,
I had bought Barak Valley shares on 16th september. I wanted to sell it on 17th september, but the icicidirect website said "i do not have sufficient shares" . Then i found out that the shares are not allocated to my demat acc yet. I tried selling it today(20th september), it showed the same error message. The shares are still not allocated to me :( . Please let me know if this is the case specific to broker,or is the delay due NSDL. ALso let me know if the allocation date depends on volume i trade(As in if I trade high volume, does the allocation to my acc take preference over others who have traded at the same time)?

Thank you for the replies in advance. :)

Icici Direct is bull **** site, and i am still trading in it from last 3 years, dont know why. Even placing order takes so much time in it that sometimes i miss my valuable call and after all this bull **** they are charging very high brokerage.

Can anyone suggest me best brokerage house.

I know ICICI Direct charges very high brokerage.
But blaming your broker and switching to a new broker will not get your share credited in your demat a/c before T+2 Days. So if you bought it on 16th , It should have been credited in your a/c by today EOD. Check it today , if it is not there contact their customer services.

shares will be in your account on T+2 days in usual situations, T+5 days in rare circumstances , but they will be available to "square off" at any time, ie. under "obligation" account.
