Hi friends.
I have a question for intradya traders.

Which broker provides margin for futures(F&O) trading?
I know that indiabulls has futures margin product that allows you to buy a nifty or futures lot at 50% price.
Which other broker has such kind of facility and also where the brokerage is less

Brokerage is not less in IB. However it is misunderstood by people. Each order the margin is booked so say you enter a trade, then you can max enter either a stop loss or sell order not both (assuming you are trading with 10K) so it is not ideal. It is advisable to set aside 15k per mini-nifty. If you have shortage of capital it is not good to go for futures trading.

I agree that IB is costly which is the exact reason why I asked for other broker who provides such service of margin exposure for F&O trading... Do yo know of any ?

I think it is better to select a discount broker than to find this feature. In a discount broker you can trade at such min costs that for some stocks futures a single tick is enough to cover brokerage and a slight profit. What you need to check is a broker which charges not more than 10% margin because some even charge 15% margin per lot.

Discount broker?? Hmm...some new term to learn after a long time.
I appreciate info on discount broker. But if you suggest a few names then that would help me a lot. I tried Google but didnt find any good info ...

The term is used abroad. But I believe it accurately describes brokers like RK Global which provides low brokerage but otherwise limited features. Tell me where you are located I will message the ones I know in your location.

One interesting thing I found, I compared margin for fno in RK is much more than Motilal Oswal and others. e.g. Vijaya bank, RK margin requirement is 1.21 Lac, Motial Oswal needs 88 K only.
Does this mean, RK charges low brokerage and high margin? Can you please help me to understand.

I am not aware from stock to stock basis but even though RK says 15% margin max for nifty it charges this only when the volatility is higher and lowers it when the volatility drops. Maybe the same it does for stocks too.
