Confuse over sharekhan, please help me

Hi,

I am new to Share Khan, I am primarily focused on Day trading. The sales representative told me in sharekhan I can trade 8 times than my Demat account for intraday, i,e if I have 5000 in Demat then I will be able to trade 5000X8 = 40000 in intraday, is it true? can anyone please clarify on this?

i m from kolkata..
trading through sharekhan..
intraday 5 paisa, delivery 30 paisa, and future and option 80 rs a lot or 1.5% whichever is higher,,
plus other taxes ..
what do u say guys,,
i m having high brokerage ..
what do i do?

You have high brokerage, no doubt. You can try by dangling the trading amount carrot.

About a week back, I opened an acct with Sharekan (Delhi) and the friendly branch guy told me that show initial trading capital as 1 Lakh and you'll get brokerage close to AMC 60000 or better without any upfront commitment. Even the trading capital of 1 Lakh, you can withdraw it the next day and keep only the amount you are comfortable with in Sk trading acct. fyi, Sk 60,000 AMC brokerage: for cash is I/D 2p, del 2p. Fut is 0.02 (1p) or if lucky you can get a flat rate too. Options is Rs 30 or 0.50% per lot. Now since you already have an acct with Sk, it may vary but whats the harm in trying?
