GEOJITBNP (DP Charges for Closed Accounts)

Closed DP account on 2008 and still receiving AMC charges note from GEOJIT BNP becareful with the closed accounts I am going to meet their branch manager such flow.

Care full about brokers close and keep a copy of the receipt for future otherwise it will be trouble for us.

I too received mail, claiming arrears for over 4 years on closed a/c. In fact, I had closed the accounts ( one of them even without a single transaction) when I realised that they charged minimum brokerage without disclosing at the time of opening account. I had written to them, to close the account with the reason of charging minimum brokerage even without disclosing it. There has never been any communication from their side there after. The fact is that, I had lost Rs.250 + 250 just for nothing. Evertime I read thread in this columns " ONLY GEOGIT IS BEST" I wonder how ignorant people are.

There is no question of payment. All those, who closed the accounts, but still receive payment communications, please make up mind not to pay. Infact, most of the brokers ignore the closure requests.

For example, I had requested to close the a/c with India Infoline and submitted the documents in their prescribed format on 26th Apr. 10. Inspite of reminders, they are delaying. These people enjoy harassing customers. I have given them 3 days notice. If not closed, I shall be approaching NSE for redressal.

Finally they have responded to me saying that it is mistake due to system generated email.
