Not ALL brokerage banks/firms offer NRI's from Australia and CANADA to open trading Account

one that offers to australia is HDFC.. which is really worst platform imho.


Any suggestions from senior members here?

This ability to invest abroad is offered by Kotak and Reliance Money. However it is subject to same minimum limits like say 2,000$ or so.For Reliance Money 2000 USD (INR 85000 approx.) using Asian cerc terminal- reliance new supertrade, unicon, angel anywhere all are using same terminal. Kotak Trader platform $10,000 or Rs 5 lakh is minimum investment. However it is highly likely that banks will have the facility available but the worst trading terminal since they encourage investing and not day trading.
Maybe you ought to wait for some international player like IB Interactive brokers or E trade (currently in association with SHCIL) or others to offer it.
