Hi all, I would like to make this topic as major talk point of 3 broking firms - Angel Broking, Sharekhan & Indiabulls. I have been reading this forum from past 2 months & taking notes. Finally came to conclusion from all posts & decided to ditch - ICICI, HDFC, SBI, Indiainfoline, Reliance Money etc due to their huge negative points. Final in the race are - Angel Broking, Sharekhan & Indiabulls. Removed RK Global & Religare (Reviews say they have very good service) as never heard much of them and not sure if they even have any office in BANGALORE. Here is my brief summary on all.. Not much idea of Indiabulls. Angel Broking & Sharekhan:- Rarely seen a bad review of it Excellent customer care Excellent DietIn Software (Angel Broking) Updates are slow with Sharekhan Both of them have software for mobile - One can install software on mobile & start trading. I like one thing about Angel broking - They take weekend seminars on trading in Bangalore. Here are the questions..
I take this opportunity to call ALL Members in Bangalore & plan to visit Bangalore to have small face to face meetup. We can exchange ideas, discuss issues & help eachother. Thank you owner & moderators for making this amazing forum. |

Hi guys,
I am also from bangalore, and thinking of opening a new account with angel broking/sharekhan/india bulls. I am also very new to trading (infact, I havent started any trade yet )... I spoke to an executive from Angel broking, and yes, even i liked their idea of conducting seminars every weekend, to educate us noobs into trading ![]() I have rarely seen a bad review about angel, and i am looking to get their online platform (so that i can trade from my office). Brokerage for angel trade account is 3 paise intra day, 30 paise delivery (thats what executive told me).. and they have a scheme running now, in which with 25k investment, maintenance is free for life !! I am getting tempted but, i want to make an informed decision carefully. Kindly pour in your thoughts and help me in deciding as well !! sorry prakashk if this post was not useful to u |

@krispuniq
You are most welcome. Angel rates given to you are given to all in 1st phone call. What next ![]() I am bargaining hard to get 1 paisa & 10 paisa rate. I dont mind paying AMF of 400-500 Rs per year. Their ODIN software is very nice. I am also talking to Sharekhan for their rates. Request all users to give their names here so we can also go for Bulk deal of opening account

If you have trading capital of 1L then sharekhan will give you 0.1% delivery and 0.015% intraday. Only one leg charged for futures so effectively 0.0075% which is the cheapest in the major brokers without upfront commitments. Angel will not go below 0.1% delivery and 0.015% intraday, I even offered to open the account with 5L but they said they will see the volumes and reduce to 0.1% and 0.01% at best after 2 months.
No idea about indiabulls, they seem to have some offer on a new low-margin futures trading account. Will check it out this week. http://power.indiabulls.com/PIBHelp/FnOIntraday_FAQ.htm Diet Odin software seems very lame for day trading. I don't see how people like it. Its slow and unfriendly. Sharekhan software is a bit better but I have not tested it in live market trading. Claims abound of delayed quotes, I have to experience it for myself to decide. The best broker and software out there seems Interactive Brokers, absolutely world class software, the demo is on their site, but brokerage is crazy expensive at 0.35% and 0.035%. |

As far as my knowledge Diet is very fast and having all latest trading tools. It even provided Advanced Charts with 63 Indicators which harnesses the potential of charts effectively, to time the market better and to tap profit making opportunities. The latest introduction shows “Password Mailing” through Emails as well as SMS. And just check your hardware configuration.

You have to negotiate with them, start with at least 1L cash and promise good trading volumes of about 25L+ per day. Then you will get the 100,000 prepaid slab equivalent brokerage without the prepayment, of 0.1% delivery and 0.015% intraday (with only charges levied on sell side so effectively 0.0075%). I still find this too high as in Nifty futures it means with all taxes you have to make 2.28 Nifty points to breakeven on each and every trade (at Nifty=5375), which means brokers make much more money than any trader. At 0.015% this breakeven becomes 3.17 Nifty points. More money to the broker and the government before you make a cent.
If you have not calculated this then you should think twice before trading. I am looking for 0.001% brokerage. Can anyone help? (that means 1.51 Nifty points to breakeven, if anyone is curious) Quote:
