Just Have a Look at the Brokerage!!!

I am a day trader since last one year and having a trading a/c at icici yesterday i did some trades with marginplus option which provides 25 times
exposure to my investment. amount i was having 5000/- in my a/c from that
amount i did trades nearabout 10 Lacs Rs worth (Buying + selling turnover) i am attaching my trade book image below and request u all the members of traderji to see the file & tel me should i change my broker as i am paying too much brokerage only 1 trade gone wrong out of 9 & still i am in loss. but i use too much leverage. only icici provides 25 times leverage thats why i am with them & can all of u suggest me a good broker with high leverage & min brokerage..

Switch to any other broker other than ICICI as their charges are the highest and u will end up burning ur pockets with them.

kindly suggest me a good broker who is providing good margin with lower brokerage rate i am paying too much with icicidirect u can see the image uploaded by me. As my trading range of Rs 1to 1.5 Lacs (turnover) per day kindly suugest me a broker who provides their online terminal as icicidirect is not providing me any kind of software i am trading only with free realtime yahoo charts from last one year i have learned a lot in stock market and wnt to learn more from u guys so plz help me to find a good broker.

Trading with 25 times margin is a risky business. Since you do, means either you are professional or a novice.Again since you are trading with ICICI Direct actually means you are a novice. Look for a broker who offers 3 to 5 times the margin money. Try Angel Broking. With a margin cheque of Rs 10000 you can easily get a slab of .03% for intraday. Again I understand its getting a little difficult to make handsome profit in day trading these days as the prices of the stocks have gone up and the trading range has decreased. For Example DLF before march 2009 was trading between 125 and 250, and the daily trading range was about Rs20 to Rs25.These days thetrading range varries between Rs12 to Rs 20 and the stock has (had) almost doubled.Still i would suggest you to not to use more than 3 times the margin and also suggest to use charts for intraday. download quotetracker and a trial version version of Amibroker and a trial of supporting data feeed. Happy Trading. And yes most important Use strict stoploss.And remember Its better to be outside the market and regret, than be in the market and regret.

Margin PLUS is a great product provided, you trade easy markets. In margin plus,
1. converted to delivery is not allowed, it is considered pure speculation
2. you have to enter your trade at market, no limit orders allowed
3. you have to give a stop at the time you enter a trade, without which the system won't take your order.

considering above facts, I said, it is a cool product (as it gives you around 20 times exposure) provided you trade a great trend.

With ICICI, be aware of the fact that every order you punch attracts a minimum brokerage of Rs15/-

Do we have to pay any more charge for ODIN ?
How is their service ?
