Anybody get this link?

In a thread it has been mentioned that people see a Google advt. saying that ICICI Securities provides a trading platform called 'Traderacer'

I could find that the link was not from official site of ICICI Securities and I don't think there is such a system.


Some of our member had posted that a guy spoke from ICICI. It is our responsibility to take care of this kind of advt. and getting confirmation from proper channel.

I am curious to know this as I don't find somebody from ICICI not aware of this.

To me also it seems like someone trying to use ICICI's name to promote their business.
Using fake identity/ similar sounding, looking names etc are one of the most common approach of internet frauds. And these guys know very well how to create trust in innocent people's mind. Social media sites are one of the least reliable source of input.

As a prudent investor and smart person, it is our duty to perform the due diligence.
Why not just call the nearest ICICIDirect branch/center and find out from them.

That's right. I have sent the link to a person he would get me back the result I understand as he is from I Sec and not aware of this, still he did not want to commit that it is not from I Sec, as he is yet to know it personally.

Let us see. I will post what I gather. But, we are yet to know what is what.

In general all advertisements of this kind would appear on their official website, striking to eye...this one has entirely different domain name..that's why I was just curious to know..
