Trading Platform - Web or Desktop Based - For US Based Resident

Hello,

Sorry to create a new thread for my question. Did not know where to post elsewhere. I want to get a Web/Desktop (preferably Desktop) based trading platform which will allow Equities, F & O execution. The hitch is that I reside in the US. I tried registering with IIL, but the customer service never gets back to me.

If any of you could suggest a good trading platform I would be grateful.

It depends on whether you are full time trader (professional) or
trading is a hobby, trades less frequently.In case of professional
choose DESKTOP otherwise just web-based is enough.
My suggestion do not choosen IILS-Investmart,better opt for
sharekhan.

Thanks for taking the time out to reply.

When you say ShareKhan, you mean the Trade Tiger Terminal? Have you got any experience trading on the same? I cannot be a full time trader due to the time zone difference but I am looking to make one trade a day and I have always leaned more towards desktop based platforms.

Let me know if you have any additional thoughts.

Yes ,I mean TRADETIGER only.

Yes,due to Time zone difference you can not be a FULL timer,
What I mean was TRADING was a hobby or full time business.
Because if you not that serious you can opt web based
platform from other vendors also.
