Almost all online brokers do have direct online transfer facilities with multiple banks option. Depending upon your volume you can bargain for best deal in brokerage and account opening charges. As per my exprience, for beginers Sharekhan and India bulls are better option. But, Sharekhan brokerage is higher and minimum charges per trade is applicable. Every broker, as per my knowledge, has their own s/w and other related system, which makes the decision to choose very tough. Bcos, if certain features are good with cerain brokers, some other features are very sad. There also are much recommendations about Angel, but I know nothing about them since so far I have dealt with only Devils. ICICI is also not bad for beginers and whose volume is less, inspite of higher brokerage. Yet, my sincer suggestion: Do not ever think of India Infoline. They are worst amongst my experience with various brokers. India Infoline, once you become member, do not even allow you to close account. I am struggling to come out. My credit balance is blocked, my DP holding is not tranferred. They have that much guts and I fail to understand who supports them. Hence, go and hv experience with any other broker of your choice, after studying various articles in this forum, but keep away from India Infoline, even if they promise you earth bottom brokerage. (They did promise me the same and once trapped, they charged me highest ever brokerage and still they want me to continue with them!)
