Need good online brokerage with support in Bangalore

I have been with ICICI Direct & have been paying them through the nose tons of money as brokerage & want to move to another cheaper & reliable broker.

I want to hear suggestions for brokerage in Bangalore who provide support & address my needs listed below

1. Place & execute aftermarket orders (post 3.30pm)
2. Lower brokerage for intraday & delivery (more specifically intraday) - lowest the best. I've heard that some brokerages give 1 paisa (0.5 paisa per leg) for buy & sell in intraday.
3. Live streaming of prices - trader terminal like interface
4. 1 click buy/sell option - see the price on the terminal & should be able to buy at that price immediately (not click through 10 pages & the price has changes by x% already)
5. Easy & problemless payments - forwards & returns
6. reliable backoffice support
7. Honest brokerage without any lafda in accounting or misuse
8. Ability to convert frm Delivery to intra day trade. Eg: I have purchased something this morning for delivery. But decide that I want to sell it off in the afternoon itself without taking delivery. I am not talking abt BuyTodaySellTmrw. I want a BuyTodaySellToday option. I dont mind paying higher brokerage(even though I dont want to).

Pl. suggest (esp users from Bangalore).

ICICIdirect is the worst brokerage service in the market today.

Check sharekhan.com. They are cheaper than ICICIdirect but not the cheapest around. Sharekhan's customer service quality is among the best and site is almost never down during trading hours.

Sharekhan's trading platform Trade Tiger is the one of the best, but customer support is not. It takes 10 mins of "Please be on the hold" before someone actually answers your call. I am from Mumbai and would never like that a situation arises where I have to contact their CC.

I was also using AnandRathi's online trading platform NEST trader X'pro. It has pathetic charting capacities, though the CC is good and usually there is no waiting.

I am fed up with ICICI Direct. Whether I earn any money or not, I am making them profitable. The site is reliable these days(unlike before, where it was a problem during peak hours), but does not warrant such a high brokerage as I dont get any advantage through their interface.


How good is Sharekhan's software? As far as I remember, it does not meet the requirements which I need - live tracking of prices, add / delete the scrips to the tracker list, lower brokerage, trading during start & end (at 9.55 or post 15:00 till 15:55) etc.

BTW, checked Canmoney. I think their interface looks good. But what about after hours trading? Also, their charges are on the higher side (certainly lower than ICICI Direct, but I have heard that others are much lower). I'm not a big time trader or a daily trader who lives by only this, but I may once in a while depending on situations. I would be active for sure.

Also, how is Ventura1 in Bangalore? OR RK Global? Can you pl. post your experiences.

Pl. comment on the Buy & Sell today option (Ability to sell delivery based buy's on the same day itself).

1. Which brokers allow us to trade the moment market opens (instantly) and till the market closes (not blcok us fraom 2.30 or 2.45pm for square-off reasons)
2. Extended hours of trading? Even after the market is closed & settlemetn is ongoing (I hear that the window from 3.30 to 4.00 is when these rollovers/settlemetns happen)

I may not need live telephonic support & hence ok with a good quality online trading product with a lower & transparent brokerage

Suggest pls.

2. Angel Broking?
3. Indiabulls? (higher brokerage?)
4. No to reliance money?

Share Khan allows you closing hr trade for 10 mins. India Bull does not. You contact all the brokers about your requirements and brokerage. But keep away from Bad brokers particularly India Infoline.

I have REad very bad opinion about ventura in this forum.
for angel broking service is not good in some branches in Bangalore so you have check yourself in your area. Overall angel provides very good service (read in many forums, have not tried personally).

Can you mention which branches to avoid?
