Cheapest broker for Nifty index futures??

#1
Dear All,
I am using ventura securities pointer software, and getting .01% for intraday trading, based on the commitments I gave.
Now, after carefully reviewing my calculations, after adding STT, service charge, and other charges to the brokerage, it costs me around 2 points on squaring off 1 lot of standard nifty trading.
With these costs, after 2 weeks of trading, I have ended up paying off 25% of my net profits in these costs, which is very high.

Do anyone has calculated this cost with other brokers they might be using?

Let me know please.

with icicidirect, i have to pay 4.5 points as brokerage for each trade. :(

with rkglobal, i pay less than 0.5 points per trade :)

Check the RK global calculations again. STT itself would come to arnd Rs.40 or about 0.8 points. The we have other chgs like SEBI,stamp duty etc - even with zero brokerage, the minimum cost for 2 trades (buy and sell) would come to around Rs.60.So, to the thread starter, I would say you are not really that far from the cheapest rate - at best you can get the cost down by another Rs.20 (or 0.4 points on the Nifty).
