Sharekhan is it best??

I'm pretty much confused for which broker to choose on...

Sharekhan,Angel,ICICIDirect

My Terms: Minimal brokage, Good technical environment for trading,..etc


And yes what is the joining fee of the broker?

No need to be confused among these brands, becz all the brands are same.. few provide good services but hight brokerage and few provide cheap brokerage but bad services..ICICI Direct charge 7 paise and 70 paise brokerage which is very high in this era of trade.

But i am very much happy with my Broker. which is delhi based, and charge 3 paise and 30 paise brokerage. no script charges on sell whereas other companies charge 15/- per script on sell.

It's Dmat Opening charges are very low - 350/-

As far as service part, this broker is very good and prompt in his services.

Sharekhan is no doubt, one of the best to go with. You are in safe, experienced hands and you are with a broking house, with almost clean track record.

Coming to your point, which broker to choose, ICICDirect and Sharekhan charge a premium for their services and generally their brokerage would be higher than others. Sharekhan's Trade Tiger is a great trading software.

Angel is coming up, but I am not too sure of their services and software as it is a relatively new player in this arena.

My personal take - go with Sharekhan or Indiainfoline.

Whom should I go with?

I am a new customer of Sharekhan, earlier I was trading with AnandRathi. Sharekhan's online trading software is one of the best I have seen till date.

They are having some prepaid brokerage schemes. I am using Rs. 2000 advanced brokerage, underwhich I have charged 0.07 single side, and 0.10 for delivery.

If you are not going for advanced brokerage, then they charge 750 for opening the account. I am not sure what the brokerage under that is.
