Question regarding ShareKhan

#3
Well Rajesh, I think there are as such no minimum charges, however for account opening you would need to submit some amount which can be withdrawn once account is active. As for brokrage charges, I belive they have diff plans as per your intrest and convience. In case your trading capital is large enuf u might bargain and get a very decent plan. They also offer yearly package of 4K under which they charge you .05% for Intraday and .25% for delivery based trades.

Sorry for posting in your thread coolross, but i too wanted to know share khan charges

My query is what will be the total charges in the following cases

1. I buy 100 shares @50 and sell them on the same day at 100@40?

2. I buy 100 shares @50 and sell all 100 shares after 1 month @75?

I wanted to know the total charges by sharekhan in the above 2 cases, can anyone help?
The total charges should include all the charges in the above 2 transactions

What do u mean by .02/.03?
.02/.03% of your purchase rs.5000 and .02/.03% of your sales rs.4000 (intraday)

.25% of 5000 and .25% of 7500( delivery).
i hope, you can calculate the amt guys.

so we have to pay brokerage both times while buying and selling?

are there any other costs like taxes etc?

does sharekhan have a minimum charge per transaction?

do we have to pay any charges when selling shares from our demat account?

yes both times brokerage.
taxes work out to .01% of your turnover.
no other charges, i guess. any way you could check out with your broker.
