RK GLobal - New Client - Can't Login

#1
Hi all,

Recently I opened my account at RKG. 1st it took 19 days to open and activate. Now when I have online browser based id and password, it's just not login. Tried both Java and ActiveX. And I'm not a novice to internet/browsers/certificates, I run my own site. But trust me, my head is spinning from 1.15 pm, it's 4.15 now, 3 hours, tons of bandwidth wasted and no success.

Can anyone please tell how to login to that damn medieval era site? I tried - enabling Java on internet explorer 8, trusted certificate export of rkg, activex enbled. Even tried Firefox and opera. No succees. On internet explorer it is either hanged or gives failed to login after sittng for like half an hour. :(

I even called up tech support, it's based in Delhi, I'm in Mumbai, they kept me on hang for 7-8 minutes, I slammed phone. Tried again, same person was again on the phone, same waiting and no one appeared afterwards.

Help me please. Thanks in advance. And yeah so far, RK Global sux.

Their active version won't work behind proxies. Check if you are behind one (even a transparent one). Their lite version is supposed to work behind proxies but goes down very often :(. And ya their support sucks!

Rkglobal web platform is not working from some time . They offered ODIN for all their users due to the web platform crash. Call them and ask to activate ODIN for your account

Thanks Naresh. I called up local sub-broker and asked him about the prob, he advised to use ODIN without any charge, took 1 day to activate ODIN as they couldn't "map-in"!

Now I get to use ODIN, which actually don't works for most of the time giving server errors. Numbers on screen hangs for good and never update. Delhi's number is busy all the time! sigh!!

Also today my orders were rejected by admins!! I called CC, they said to use call-n-trade, give them 40 rs per call just because there system was wrong!! and still my fund balance shows "no data found"

Having said this, I made money from trading, I won't lie. Like I bought nifty 5 lots for 120, sold for 121, still making money. That was just to check there system. And later I did such trade quite number of time and my initial amount in 2 days is 25% (though lot has been thanks to yesterday's 4400 call I bought at 81 and squared off at 130 today!) But still, RKG is so far lucky for me, as a trader. And nothing matters at the end of the day, when you go home with filled pockets. :D

The ONLY good thing about Rkglobal is their brokerage . If any one looking for a service or customer support , its pathetic. But I am fortunate enough so far ( i am a client from 18 months ) I didnt faced the order rejection , fund balance issues so far . The only issues i faced were while installing ODIN .And The customer support person speaks only Hindi . And the worst part is they do multitasking .While talking to me over phone that guy also handles some other calls and its very confusing to whom hes talking .

But at the end of day , when i square some options with just 1rs profit , I really feel happy with them :)

regarding Data hang issues , i didnt saw them often in last year but this time iam seeing them quite often .and i reconnect the data streamer from tools menu .

Finally , Rkglobal - 100% marks for brokerage , 5% marks for service :)

RKGlobal can only be preferred for their low brokerage but this may invite a disaster. I started with them in April this year and made money initially but I lost more than 30,000/ in July and August due to their order execution speed and server problems. In more than 70% cases, the order shows "Xmitted" for more than 30 seconds which extended to 17 minutes in one case. When calling their Jaipur office, they just say "you are the first client reporting the problem. No other client is facing any problem". When called during Server outage time the reply is "Sorry, it is being improved and you will not have trouble anymore.". While insisting for a solution, they transfer the call to technical guy named Mr. Manoj at Delhi, who insists that the problems is with internet connection, not at their end and makes all effort to prove himself.

Their servers give up as soon as load increases and you are always left standing aside of departing train as your order will be "Xmitted" but not entered in the order que of the Exchange. By the time it is in que, your target price had already come and gone away. It has happened to the stage that now I almost stopped trading with them and waiting for the existing positions to be squared off before I tell them to stop the datafeed.

I don't understand, why RKG is turning itself into the worst broker. Why don't they charge somewhat higher brokerage like Rs.20/- per lot instead of Rs.9/- for F&O if needed and surpass other brokers in terms of expectations of a trader. They are honest in their dealing as far as brokerage and transactions are concerned but seems that they are not practical.
I don't recommend RKG for day traders, they are suitable for slow, call and trade type of people.
