Thumbs down Beware of Anand Rathi's online trading software - NEST trader / Trade X''pro

Hi,
Its been about 3 weeks I have converted my offline trading account to online trading account. After 3 weeks of using it, I find that these are the irritating shortcomings:
  1. Software hangs when the internet is disconnected, forcing you to restart the application.
  2. There is a log window which displays all the tips/calls informed by the broker. If you restart your application(when it hangs), you will lose all the tips/calls informed by the broker.
  3. Hopeless charting capacities. Though it can draw line and candles, it cannot draw intra-session charts. It just gives me black grid with X and Y axis - but no graph.
  4. Recently, it has started giving me error while starting up.

Since I have myself worked with softwares, I know these kind of shortcomings are not unresolvable, but most likely because of 2nd rate programmers who cannot understand what traders want.

Don't go for this NEST trader. Its sucks badly.

Can anybody please suggest me any other broker/subbroker for online trading account whose software doesn't suck? After today's trading session, I am anyways gonna visit some of the brokers in my neighbourhood. Lets see what they have.

Thank,
-Rohan.

Yeah i used nest trader, charts ar horrible actually, charting facility is bogus just for name sake.BTW what brokerage ur paying to dem.I took it in advanced brokerage scheme.Where dey were supposed to charge 40/-lot and dey charged 79/lot.When i questioned dey said,ok now onwards u will be charged 40-/lot but still dey cut 79.I stopped using dem.

Also dey r offering 2paise and 20paise to attract new customers,I said discontinue my scheme and offer me also the same brokerage, dey said its only for new customer.Looks like existing customers r of no importance for dem.

If charting + trading capability is what you are looking out for then Sharekhan's Trade Tiger is one [and only, i guess] such software that offers that combination. Brokerage is negotiable based on your daily turnover capacity.

ODIN offered by most brokers for online trading is fast and reliable - but their charting feature is in primitive stage.

I am using NEST software of Anandrathi. I am paying .05 and .5 for intraday and delivery.
Coming to the software, it is very heavy on system. I can understand mine is Pentium 3 cpu, but still 100% cpu usage is bad software coding.
Charting is very bad. Can't see previous days chart today. it only shows 1 day intraday chart... no weekly monthly charts for identifying support resistance.
Charting Indicators like RSI and others don't even show anything, eventhough they are present in the software.
Can ONLY see 1 minute candlestick.. NO 3min,5min and 15min candlesticks.
Very disappointed with this crap software.

Inspite of all the above problems, i never had problem with order placing and other account related stuff.

Now i'm looking for a change.

The funny thing is that Way2wealth seems to have attractive rates i saw somewhere on the net but i read that they have the NEST platform. So thats the catch .Reading about the disastrous experiences that people had regarding various broker platforms like Pointer, TTAdv and now Nest, it shows it takes a lot to come up with a stable platform and day traders should not take it for granted and compromise their success rate. Also I have seen that the worse the platform better the brokerage rates, it a bad trade-off for the day trader.Specifically i am referring to Traderanywhere platform ,it's considered to be inadequate yet the brokers who offer it give better rates.
