Info on Reliance Money's Limit Card.

#1
Hi All,

Yesterday when I logged into my Reliance Money DMAT account, I was greeted by an "Preference for Limit Card" window where in I had to select one of the many options available.

And one of the Options was PR-500 which has an validity of 365 days and an Trade limit of 2 Lakhs.

What does this trade limit mean?
Does it mean that I can buy and sell shares for Max RS 2 Lakhs or less in a single transaction?

Can I not buy and hold shares of more than 2 Lakhs so that I could sell it when the prices go up?(assume that in a trading day, i buy shares for 50K for 4 days)

I am relatively new to trading so please provide info.

If my understanding above is wrong, please explain again.

Thanks and Regards.

Bro Dont be confuse on it :)
It is simply that u can use that brokerage card for max 365 days n if u dont consume ur balance then Mr Anil Ambani will eat that:lol:
And on second case if ur transaction cross Rs 2lac you hav to buy new card to pay brokerage its nothing connected with ur holding or retaining ur share quantity All the best:)

You can buy or sell upto 2 lakhs worth of shares at reliancemoney within a year (365 days), else your limit will become zero, just like zero validity prepaid recharges, either you talk within a month or lose the payment.

Upto the value of 2 lakhs you can trade. Either buying or selling or both

And what if I want to exceed that limit?

Say I have already used up 1.5Lakhs till date and now I still want to sell stocks worth 1Lakh. Wont it let me do so?

Or do i need to purchase a different plan for availing this offer?
