I have placed an order to sell with following parameters.
Trigger price : 37.85
stop loss : 37.85

It got executed at 37.58.. ..
Can anybody tell me what is gone wrong here?

Are you 100% sure that you placed stoploss at 37.85 and not at 37.58? Because, if you wrongly type 85 in reverse order it will be 58. But you must not be able to place order at 58 as the orders will in the multiples of 5 paise.

Also check whether the price at which your shares are sold is indeed at 37.58without deducting commissions, taxes etc. Or is it sold at 37.85 and after deducting all commissions, taxes etc., the net credit is 37.58.

Another possibility is that when the stoploss is triggered, there were no buyers at 37.85 and the next available buyer must be far below than that where your shares were sold.

If your answer is none of the above, then I suggest that you should contact your broker or RM whoever it may be who is in charge of the affiars.

I hope you got it executed while you are SHORTING and the market price
was 37.58.Hope to get somemore information from you .
Anyway ,in SHAREKHAN, stoploss order is quite CONFUSING.

When trigger price is met i.e. when it reached 37.85, the system converts 37.85 to 0 meaning sell @ any rate, depending on number of buyers and stocks you had, it would have sold all till you had squared up, your accumulative price came up to be 37.58
