Current brokerage rates

Is there a comparison of the latest broking rates available in the market.

What are the other charges applicable like STT, Service Tax etc.

Which bank based brokers are good (ICICI or HDFC or Axis). Do any of these offer trading interface (some kind of terminal) other than the Internet/ Phone.

I would be doing more of F&O trading (both Index and Stock futures).

Might not have much of cash equities trading. If i'm only going to trade F&O, do i need to have the Demat a/c at all.

Negotiate ur brokerage with broker.
ICICI has no terminal like NEAT or ODIN. Many brokers offer terminals to online clients
I think u have to open a demat ac as most brokers insist on a demat ac. with them, but I don't know the legal norms

I see that most of the bank backed brokers are expensive, but do not provide any terminal. That sucks.

I'm doing some research on the brokers, their platforms and expenses and will upload the results of the same here.

Would appreciate if the members can share any current details that they have on indian brokers.

Thanks in anticipation

PS: I'm not affiliated to any broker . I'm just an individual investor

Try to avoid Icici or Hdfc if you are trader. For long term they are best .
