My wife has online trading account with India Bulls. When trading and DP A/c. was opened, their executive Shri Sanjay Singh by name, had his own philosophy. Inspite of my insistance to open a/c. in Jt. names, he opened it in single name and inspite of my preference for NSDL, he opened it in CDSL. Besides, god alone knows whose telephone No. he had filled, whose e-mail id he used to fill up the form. Now, we are facing never ending problems.
1. We shifted to new address on Jan 20th, 2008. Since then, 3 times we submitted request for change of address in DP a/c. The request is being turned down repeatedly for one reason or the other. Last time, I just attached copy of ration card in which only our First name is written. Earlier, it was rejected as proof of address was different (i.e. we had added 'land mark' along with the proper address. My son's request for change of address also has been rejected twice for foolish reasons.
2. As we had some shares in Jt names, we had compulsion to open Jt. A/c. and as such, we opened another a/c. in NSDL Jtly, so as to facilitate dematerilisation of shares. This has our new address. We submitted 150 shares of Coromondal Fertifilisers. The names in the Share crtificate are " PUSHPA BANGERA' AND BHOJA BANGERA. Whereas, in the account we have included middle names i.e. Pushpa Bhoja Bangera and Bhoja Sooru Bangera. The said share certificate has been returned. The reason "Names mismatch". In our PAN names are '" PUSHPA BANGERA' AND B.S.BANGERA.
The suggestions given by IBS are still ridiculous. " CHNAGE BANK ACCOUNT' OR OPEN NEW BANK ACCOUNT ' OR CHANGE NAMES IN PAN CARD, SUBMIT INDEMINITY/AFFIDAVIT ON RS. 50 STAMP PAPER DULY NOTORISED. With mounting losses, is it advisable to do all the above?. Will IBS bear the cost?. Even it is yes, who shall compensate towards time and postage?. Courier charges over Rs.200/- per envelope.
I think, the IBS is acting extra super smart. Is rejecting every thing and every time for the simplest reasons as above is justified?. It is almost 13 months that we changed residential address and all documents are mailed to our old address. Will any one, excecepting IBS, justify the above please?.
