sEBI is being formed to help either big players or brokers.........not for retail traders.........else brokers like ICICI who 80% times have tech.problems could had shut their offices.:)

however u can try.........

but those idiots (sebi officials) are not going to send even the receipt of your mail.

solving problem or taking action agst broker is too far.

it's your money boss. and you are NOT at fault, because your broker had not enough technical staff to resolve issues on time.

please take your broker to court if they resist.

send a documented complaint to NSDL.SEBI

either sleep idle or HIT Hard

best of luck!

Yes Hit Hard!
Spend a few thousand in lawyer fees, take them to court, spend a few weeks trying to screw them, and end up getting screwed yourself.

You might even consider a CBI enquiry, if all fails.

Before you take any action, do read the small print on the contract that you have signed with your broker. They are running a business.. and I am sure they have clause protecting their interest from such technical issues..

If it is such a big issue for you then why don't you move to another broker. Most of us face similar technical issues with their borkers but we have learnt to live with it.

All the best.

I think ,if you have to do any case then go to consumer forum. We always shy away from taking actions due to bureaucracy in our system and lack of time. You can consult any lawyer and can drag your broker to court.
