Transfer of shares from one dp account to one dp account

Hi
i am trading throgh one online broker,but the pblm that their have minum brokerage commitment that Rs 25/- per trade Or 2.5% of trade value (which ever is lower). Minimum Brokerage of 0.02% will always be levied to your account.Thyeir for i plan to shift Angel broking.How i transfer my shares from one dp account toanother dp account.what are fees in that? how much time it take?let me know?

consult your broker....always it is the service provider who will explain you all this and you get instant replies.so try once.

- First you should open the new DP account ( IN this case Angel)
- Approach your old DP (In case of Offline account you will have to fill the DIS (Depository Instruction Slip ) Book. In case of online , if your broker permits then you can transfer the shares from your online account as well.

- Generally the fees range from broker to broker (anywhere from Rs 35 - Rs 50 per scrip irrespective of quantity) This is charged by your Old broker and not the new one.
- In case you close your demat and move to another DP the transfer is free as per SEBI directive.
- Ideally Transfer happens the same day you initiate the transfer (NSDL-NSDL)
