New brokerages for icicidirect?!?

Dear all,

I had opened an icicidirect trading account during august. For one full month
i was being charged a flat brokerage of Rs. 15 each for buy/sell in margin/marginPLUS.

But after one month, now the brokerage is 0.05% as advertised.

Today i went to a icicidirect store to clarify about this. The guy sitting there had no idea what i was trying to say. (typical icicidirect customer service!!). Finally he said that was because of a problem in their systems.

He also showed me a brokerage list (new) that is apprently from october onwards. 0.025% for margin/plus?

Do any other members here know about this new brokerage scheme.?

Rs.15 is minimum brokerage. Otherwise it starts with 0.05% for intra-day equity and 0.05% for futures, 0.025% for intraday futures. They have turn over based brokerage, on month end (for non-delivery trades) you will get brokerage incentive, if you come in less brokerage category.
